R&D team of an enterprise takes the important responsibility to keep enterprise technical advance and to develop new product. It provides potential capability for enterprise to be sustainable developed in fierce market competition and it forms key competition capability. Performance evaluation is one of key functions of human resource management, so how to find the evaluation method which is suitable for the feature of R&D team, and through reasonable performance evaluation to promote the improvement of the performance of R&D, to enhance the whole motivity of R&D, is the key tache of human resource management of the technology center.Using traditional performance management theory, making the technology center of Northwest Benniu as study subject, by investigation and systems analysis, starting the research in team aspect and individual aspect, adopting KPI (key performance index) method and 360 degree performance method respectively, combining the evaluation methods for the whole performance and the individual performance of R&D team, the performance evaluation system for the R&D team of technology center of Northwest Benniu Co. is put forward in this article.By the application of the evaluation system in the annual performance evaluation for the technology center of Northwest Benniu Co, it is found that the result of evaluation has been markedly improved compared with the previous evaluation system. Therefore, the evaluation system can be entirely popularized in the whole technology center and while it has reference value for other team's performance evaluation.
