Study On The Evaluation Of Competitiveness System Of Iron And Steel Enterprises

With the development of Chinese steel and iron industry for many years, most steel products have already met the demand of national economic development and national defense construction on quality , but the concentration degree of market is low, and the contradiction in product structure is still very outstanding , the disparity of profit level and competitive power between enterprises is expanding rapidly, so it is the urgent subject that steel enterprises should be promoted to merge and unite across different provinces , cities and regions. Under this background , it is significant to go on research on the competitiveness of iron and steel enterprises in China.The research purpose of this paper is mainly to construct the checklist of competitiveness of iron and steel enterprises, comparatively appraise the relative market competitiveness of enterprises, and to offer the scientific decision basis for improving means and measures ,participating in the effective and proper competition and making competitive market strategy. This paper is mainly divided into five parts:Chapter one is the introduction, it explains the research background and do a summary to the relevant literature on the study of domestic and international competitiveness of iron and steel enterprises and proposes the research contents and approach on this basis.Chapter two is theoretical research review of the competitiveness of enterprises. Firstly, the definition of enterprise's competitiveness is given on the basis of former studies at first. Then, the development orbit of enterprise's competitiveness theory and its main appraisal methods are explained. Finally, the concrete design for the checklist of enterprise's competitiveness is introduced.In chapter three, the checklist of the competitiveness of iron and steel enterprises is constructed and, the competitiveness of the iron and steel enterprises is assessed on three aspects: firstly, the iron and steel enterprise appraised and its rival are contrasted horizontally on all index data.; secondly, the checklist is established on the framework of three levels of enterprise competitiveness - enterprise ability - ability. First of all, enterprise's ability is designed on the basis of Potter's value chain, and according to trade characteristics, the ability index of the third level is confirmed with the guide of characteristic pictures.
