Study Of Pubic Participation In Government Project

Chinese government carries out positive financial policies, one of them is promoting economic development by increasing fixed assets investment. It brings huge growth in governmental investment. Government project relate to city economy and continuous social development, and it has typical public characters and large social effect. Carrying out a government project is redistributing public resource indeed. It must delegate the fundamental benefit of the overwhelming majority of the masses, and ensure the public have the right to know, right to supervise, right to participation, and fair distribution of resources. So, this thesis mainly discuss the public participation in government project. Reading literature, parsing example, the techniques of comparing research and inquiry on questionnaire are used here for systemic analysis.First, the thesis arranges related theories of government project, and public participation. These include characters of government projects, construction procedure, development of public participation, and other related definitions and theories. Then, explain the necessity of public participation system by qualitative and quantitative analysis of government project. Through qualitative research, example research and questionnaire research, the thesis analyzes the situation of the building public participation system in government project, and points out its problems. At last, by comparing public participation system in developed countries and China, other fields and government project, the thesis gives practical suggestions on how to improve public participation system in government project.
