Research On Expressway Maintenance Management Information System

As China's expressway mileage is growing, the importance of expressway maintenance management is increasingly prominent. This research focuses on how to use the information technology to solve problems in expressway maintenance management.Reviewed literatures in expressway maintenance management and expressway maintenance management systems at home and abroad, analyzed the development trends and issues of current studies, and then proposed the concept and framework of expressway maintenance management information system (EMMIS). Most of current research focuses on data processing and ignores the business processes, so this research applied Business Process Management in expressway maintenance management. Then analyzed, redesigned and optimized the existing business processes, given an improved expressway maintenance management business process model.Expert's experience is important for expressway maintenance management decisions, but most of current researches focus on mathematical models while ignoring expert's experience. Case-Based Reasoning (CBR) technology can combine expert's experience and mathematical models. This research analyzed and designed an expressway maintenance synthetic decision support system model. At last, analyzed, designed and developed a project-level expressway maintenance management information system.
