The drop lipid formula is made up of Nelumbinis Folium, Crataegus pinnatifida Bge. and carmine radish(fresh). Discuss the extraction process and preliminary pharmacodynamics of The drop lipid formula, under the guidance of traditional Chinese medical theory, through consulting literatures and combining pre-experiment results and utilizing modern pharmaceutical technology.According to the functions of the drop lipid formula and physicochemical property of lipid-lowering active ingredients of each herb, the optimal extraction process of each herb was identified with single factor experiment and Box-Behnken response surface design method.The optimal extraction process was ethanol concentration50%, liquid-material ratio of39:1, extraction temperature at70℃,and extracted for60min, twice, by the constant temperature soak extraction, which was regarded as the optimum extraction process of Nelumbinis Folium. The optimal extraction process of Crataegus pinnatif ida Bge. was ethanol volume fraction70%, liquid-material ratio of12:1and extracted for100min, twice, by the method of reflux extraction. Collect the juice by vacuum filter,soak the radish slag60min by distilled water and then stir constantly, twice, which was regarded as the optimum extraction process of carmine radish(fresh).By studying the pharmacodynamic experiment of endogenous and exogenous acute hyperlipidemic mice, which were respectively injected with400mg·kg-14%Triton WR-1339and25mL·kg-175%yolk through intraperitoneal injection.In order to preliminary discussion the lipid-lowering mechanism of the drop lipid formula. It turned out that the drop lipid formula has the function of reducing TC,TG and elevating HDL-C. At the same time, It can also reduce the danger of AS. The paper can provide the preparation to further study the hyperlipidemia-lowering mechanism and formula granule.
