To improve oil recovery of low permeability, low permeability reservoir, reduce themining cost, improve the economic benefit is the extension and oil fields all over the countrymajor problems to be solved.In view of the low rate of oil production in low permeability oilfield, the characteristics of the pump inspection cycle is short, in low permeability oilfieldapplication small-engine rod pump can effectively reduce the production cost and improve thepump efficiency.This article in view of the existing in the application of rod pump seat sealing device iseasy to unlock, redesigned the sealing device. After the existing analysis of the characteristicsof the rod pump seat sealing device, the use of3d graphics software to design the new sealingdevice model, At the same time, using the finite element analysis software to design the modelof reliability analysis, the results show that the sealing device is to design a reliable, caneffectively solve the problem of easy to unlock. For rod pump inlet connector end thornleakage problems, through the filling valve sealing end surface increasing copper washer orsurface in the inlet valve seat diameter rubber seal method can be effectively solved.In this paper, using the finite element software to design the pump barrel has carried onthe intensity, the results show that the strength in the range of security.On the seat of the flowchannel by using fluid analysis software to simulate the flow field, the seat is studied therelationship between the parameters and the pump efficiency.In addition to improve the pumpefficiency of oil well pump has carried on the theoretical research, improve the pumpefficiency optimization model is established, and the effect factors of pump efficiency areanalyzed, and some measures to improve the pump efficiency is presented.Finally in this paper, the application effect of rod pump has been evaluated. Using theindicator diagram tester to field test the application before and after the indicator diagram ofrod pump, using software to measure indicator diagram were compared before and after theanalysis,The results show that the application of rod pump in low permeability reservoirs caneffectively improve the pump efficiency, prolong the pump inspection cycle at the same time.
