In the process of reservoir development, usually30%of reserve can be produced. Withthe development, underground liquid distribution has tremendous changed, distribution ofreminder oil has become complicated. It is important to take a research on reminder oildistribution to maintain and increase oil production. Now there are a lot of methods to predictreminder oil distribution, but they all have their limits. Numerical simulation method canimitate the flow performance of underground fluids, also after history matching theproduction performance is in accordance with actual production. It’s accurate for predictingreminder oil, but it’s complex to deal with the data and the data profile is large. This articletakes ShiNan21well block as an example to research on the fast and convenient predictionmethods for reminder oil saturation distribution in the low permeability reservoir.Beginning with research and analysis of the geological characteristics and productionperformance data of this oilfeild, the structure model, sedimentary facies model, matrixproperty model are established based on deterministic and stochastic modeling methods usingprevious research and awareness. Combining with reservoir simulation, we can obtain thereminder oil saturation of each layer and the whole section. Taking these results as criterion, compared with results of grey correlation method and geological-dynamic analysis method. These two methods combines the statistic with dynamic data, the needed data can be easilyfound in the site. Results of the two methods are almost the same with result of numericalsimulation, so these two methods can be used in the calculation of reminder oil distribution inthe low permeability sandstone reservoir.
