The comparative research between different resins and activated carbon foradsorpting o-phthalic acid has been studied firstly in this study, then the adsorptionmechanism that new hypercrosslinked resin NDA-66adsorpt o-phthalic acid has beenexplored, and the application parameters have been optimized, at last o-phthalic acidin plasticizer production wastewater have been resourced by utilization, and thestability was investigated.(1) Different adsorbents were used to treat simulated wastewater which containso-phthalic acid. Under the same condition, the adsorption capacity of differentadsorbents was: NDA-66>activated carbon>D201>XAD-4>D301; Adsorptionfor o-phthalic acid with resin NDA-66was accordance with the Langmiur andFreundich adsorption isotherms, and adsorption capacity were increase with highertemperature; The most suitable parameter of resin NDA-66at static adsorption wewas follows: pH was1.0~2.0,shaking speed was120r/min, and contact time was12h;The optical parameters of dynamic adsorption are shown below: the temperature was303K, flow rate was1BV/h (1BV=19mL) and the height to diameter ratio was4.6:1. For dynamic desorption, the optical parameters were shown below: flow ratewas1BV/h (1BV=19mL)desorbents were1BV6%NaOH+2BV H2O.(2) For treating plasticizer production wastewater, the optimum operation ofadsorption are as follows: the flow rate is1.5BV/h (1BV=3.4L), the height todiameter ratio is3.4:1; The optimum operation of dynamic desorption are as follows:desorbents are1BV8%NaOH+2BV H2O, the flow rate is1.5BV/h (1BV=3.4L),and the desorption rate is more than99%. With resin NDA-66to treat plasticizerorganic wastewater is more popular than activated carbon.(3) Treating plastizer organic wastewater with enlarging experiments has beenresearched. The optimum operation of adsorption were as follows: batch volume treatwas8BV, then the removal rate for phthalate was more than94.5%and CODdesorption rate could be above50%during7batches adsorption-desorption. Thepurity of phthalate which recover from first BV desorption solution was more than 95%, recovery rate is94.08%, and the stability of this resin is well. The process parameters in adsorption system with resin were optimized, and theoptimum operation of treating toxic organic pollutants with resin NDA-66weredetermined. o-phthalic acid in plasticizer production wastewater could be resourcingby utilization and the organic load for subsequent biochemical system reduced at thesame time. |
