Three-dimensional geological modeling of mine is one of the key technologies of digital mine construction. It is the core and the most significant first step of realizing digital mine, which is directly affected by its development. With Jilinguole No.2open pit as research background, the geologic aspects are analyzed and summarized in this thesis; the drill data, profile data and contouring data were collected and classified. Then, three-dimensional geological surface models of open pit by applying Delaunay triangulation (CD-TIN) with constraint conditions are constructed, three-dimensional solid geological models of open pit by using the envelop solidification entity method are adopted, three-dimensional uniform geological model of Jilinguole No.2open pit is constructed on the platform of AutoCAD. The construction methods of mining&dumping template were introduced by the development status of mine engineering and geometric constraint relations, and quantities classificating of mining and stripping by simulating mining was proposed. On the basis of three dimensional geological model, simulating mining and the theory of front length optimization were used, in order to research front length optimization method under combined mining technology between shovel-truck and shovel-self mobile crusher-belt-spreader. Coal seam occurrence condition of Jilinguole No.2open pit was intensive analyzed, the relationship between front length and stripping ratio&haul distance were discussed. By comparing several plans, the lowest production cost per year for stripping was used as optimization objective. Finally, the technical feasibility&economic rationality front length of Jilinguole No.2open pit was determined.
