A survey was conducted to study the community structure of zooplankton in Shahu Lake in April, July, and September 2014. Multivariate statistical method was used to analyze phytoplankton’s biodiversity and the community structure. The correlation between phytoplankton and environmental factors was determined by CCA analysis. The research could provide scientific basis for the protection and management of Shahu Lake.31 zooplankton species were identified totally, among which 13 Rotifera as predominant species accounting for 42% of the total,8 Copepoda accounting for 26% of the total,7 species of protozoan and 3 species of protozoon were identified. The Cladocera was the most dominant species after 3 surveys were conducted. Such as Cyclops strenuns、Mesocyclops leuckarti、 Nauplii、Thermocyclops hyalinus and Microcyclops javanus. Results show that the dissimilarities of community composition was most obvious in winter and mostinconspicuous in Spring. Shannon-Weiner index and Pielou index were applied to evaluate the water quality, the highest biodiversity index was 7#, and the lowest was 8# among the sampling sites. The comprehensive evaluation of water quality was moderately polluted. |
