The change of landscape spatial pattern analysis is helpful to study the interaction between landscape pattern and ecological processes, is one of the core issues of landscape ecology. With the accelerating urbanization process in Harbin, increasing the size of city, urban form and structure are also constantly changing; urbanization of profound changes in the a region of the natural landscape, affect the city’s ecological process, resulting in the change of the whole landscape pattern. At the same time, urban transport, environmental pollution, living and other issues more prominent. These problems have affected the city to a certain extent, as the production, the living environment of the suitability, to the city’s sustainable development brings great challenges. Urban in the city space expansion effect on city ecosystem and its ecological effect, is one of the key problem urgently to be solved for the development of Harbin city. Study of Harbin city landscape pattern changes, the reasonable land use planning and management, improve the city’s ecological environment has a vital role.The study used the TM remote sensing image data of Harbin city in 2005,2010,2015 (July or August) as the main data source. Under the support of remote sensing processing software ENVI, the synthetic false color remote sensing image is obtained by remote sensing image preprocessing. According to the released by the Ministry of land and resources 2015 land use classification of the status quo, and Harbin city land use characteristics, the division: cultivated land, woodland, grassland, water, urban and rural residents and soil and mine land, unused land six primary landscape types. Finally, according to the classification system and other related information of national land resources remote sensing macroscopic investigation of land use, in the arcgis10.0 of human-computer interactive interpretation interpretation, interpretation of 2005,2010 and 2015 in Harbin city landscape types of vector data and the results were verified in the field. The calculation of landscape pattern index in Harbin city using Fragstats3.4 software (including:landscape level, patch number (NP)) patch area (CA), patch density ((PD), the average patch area (MPS), fractal dimension (FD), minimum distance index (NNI), connectivity index (COHESION). In order to build a reasonable urban landscape structure and pattern, and provide a scientific basis for the full play of the function of urban landscape system.
