This article studied the morphological characteristics and the development rule of the shrub and snow based on the research of Caragana microphylla and Achnatherum splendens shrub in Typical Steppe. Take a further step to the find the relationship between morphological parameters of snow (snow height, snow width, and braid length) and shrub (the shrub height, the windward side width, and the windward side length). The model of two-dimensional space for stagnation directly reflects shrub on wind disturbance range and potential range of snow, indirectly reflects on the ability of resisting. The three-dimensional space model for impediment directly reflects the ability of shrub baffled snow on the source of snow and windy situation. The results showed that:(1)In the formation and development of Achnatherum splendens shrub snow, the smaller has a quicker speed, the big has a relatively slow speed, no matter characteristics of shrub changes, all shrub snow develop quickly at early time and have a slow speed at later stage. The development speed of Achnatherum splendens is faster in vertical direction than in horizontal direction. The results showed that there is a significant power function relationship between morphological parameters of snow and shrub(index less than 1). The morphological parameters of shrub impacts the process and shape of snow, the shrub height is the biggest impact on snow height and braid length, the windward side width is the biggest impact on snow width.(2)The height of it increased in power function while the windward side height increased, and the growth tendency become steady gradually. The development speed of Caragana microphylla is faster in horizontal direction influenced by the windward side width than in vertical direction influenced by shrub height. The Caragana microphylla shrub and snow morphology parameters have a function power relationship and the correlation is good especially the shrub height and snow morphology parameters.(3)The model of two-dimensional space for stagnation directly reflects Achnatherum splendens and Caragana microphylla shrub on wind disturbance range and potential range of snow, indirectly reflects on the ability of resisting. The three-dimensional space model for impediment directly reflects the ability of shrub baffled snow on the source of snow and windy situation.
