The tectonic evolution in Qaidam basin has experienced a long history which experienced early Palaeozoic orogenic, late Paleozoic-early Mesozoic superposition composite orogenic,Mesozoic intraplate evolution process, and renew the different geological era and different structural properties of all kinds of geological body. It is one of important metal metallogenic belt in China, mineral prospecting work has been respected, and Using the geochemical prospecting method can provide the most direct information for mineral exploration, which can improve the efficiency of prospecting.The sulfuric acid salinization serious surface in the study area, and has a low content of sulfide. Landscape of desertification area has the obvious depressive effect on the geochemical anomaly, element combination anomaly can reflect the characteristics of the anomalous source but not obvious. Concealed deposit includes blind deposit and buried deposit shows a distinguish weak anomalies on geochemical map, Geological ore-prospecting criteria is not clear. Combined with the project objective and task, summaried metallogenic characteristics and prospecting marks of Luliangshan area, and for the purpose of strengthen all kinds of ore anomalies in the study area, the anthor used 1:50000 stream sediment geochemical data with the traditional method and “connotation of the geological method” which Prof. Zheng Youye put forwarded to delineate anomalies. Scientific and effective ore-prospecting target area is delineated. “Connotation of the geological method” is giving specific geological geochemical data connotation. In this paper, the anthor analysied the abnormal mineralization types and element complex degree, In combination with the metallogenic geological background of the specific test area, elements combination and mineralized alteration multiple integrated geological information analysis, finally selects prospecting target area.Through comparison with traditional method and “connotation of the geological method”,Were delineated 19 target area and select three of them for validation. we found traditional methods anomaly map show the "small", "hidden" abnormal,and on "metallogenic type" anomaly map will have very good abnormal display and the area in the "element complex figure" also show the anomaly area. In general, "weak" anomaly of traditional method usually be ignored, But through "connotation of the geological method" and its concrete method ofthinking could display very well. Especially under the condition of desertification in the west of the special geological landscape, “connotation of the geological method” framed "weak", "hidden" thinking to mineralization anomaly has obvious advantages.
