After water free oil production period,oil field started water production withwater cut rising and unstable production.It was significant to study on water risingrule and geological factor on water rising in different production period, so that wecould keep from water rising to stable production even got more production. waterrising in sandstone reservoir had many comprehensive solution,in contrast waterrising in carbonate reservoir was still problem of the world.This paper had discussed characteristic of production and geology.and studied oncharacteristic of reservoir,geological structure and fluid in carbonate reservoir ofthe Tahe6-7area.the area has116production wells and9injection wells,94wells areproducting now.and it injecting725cubic meter and producting1318ton liquid and882ton crude oil in the6area per day,injecting525cubic meter producting595tonliquid and270ton crude oil in the7area per day.it has33percent water cut,0.63percent oil production rate,12.25percent, oil recovery rate in the6area and54.7percent water cut,0.33percent oil production rate,9.46percent, oil recovery rate in the7area. water cut of some production well are more than80percent and someproduction even had flooded.it was divided water rising of production wells into fourtypes:slow rising type,fast rising type,step rising type,wave rising type.we can analyzereservoir structure of those water rising type by drilling,logging,seismic data.and thereservoir structure also can be divided into3types by relationship between its vuggysand fractures:vuggy type,fracture type,vuggy and fracture mixed type.and we canget the geological factor on water rising by liquid producing profile data tested fromdifferent period of time:origin of water,relationship between production well andvuggy or fracture,scale of vuggy and fracture.After studying those production wells by water drive curve in the6-7area,wecan find part of production wells of the carbonate reservoir on6-7area havesimilar water drive rule like wells in sandstone reservoir,others are not.consideringthat tranditional water drive curve using in studying sandstone resevior may not adaptto carbonate resevior like the6-7area.considering condition of deduction waterfloodformula is different,we find the basic water drive formula matched withCarbonate reservoir can be divided into3type:transition type,non-piston likedisplacement,piston like displacement.we can find when production wells in theresevior only have conntected fractures without vuggy its water drive rule is similar to sandstone reservoir called non-piston like displacement waterdrive rule. The straightline of The First Water Drive Characteristic Curve is parallel to The second WaterDrive Characteristic Curve.if production wells have connected to vuggy and waterorigin comes from one place,for example,only bottom water drive.the water drive inthat reservoir like piston we called piston like displacement water drive.and ifproduction wells connected to vuggy and its water origin comes from differentplace,for example,water comes from different vuggy or bottom water and injectionwater mixed.the water drive in that reservoir called transition type water drive.Studying on whole6-7area,we can find it has moved forward in somedirection,it shows that area has dominant channel.we used non-piston likedisplacement water drive rule predict whole area recoverable reserves find reservescalculated from The First Water Drive Characteristic Curve is less than calculatedfrom The Second Water Drive Characteristic Curve,and reserves calculated from Thefourth Water Drive Characteristic Curve is less than calculated from The third WaterDrive Characteristic Curve.it shows that using non-piston like displacement waterdrive rule may not match with condition of whole area.so we used transition typewater drive predict whole area recoverable reserves.and the result get from linerregression of production datas is match with the area conition.
