A Floristic Study On The Medicinal Plants In Altay

In this paper,on the basis of access to a large number of documents,an applied themethodology and principles of the floristic geography,also based on the compositionand phytogeographic elements of the speeies,genera and families in Altay,the flofisticregionalization of medicinal plants in Altay is done according to component andcharacters of the flora whose related information has been normalized and inputdatabase.Relation of geographical component and property-flavour-efficacy of TDC isanalyzed,as well as relation of altitude and medicinal character,research results showthat:Altay has a rather high species diversity of medicinal plants,there composed of1042species,838genera and90families,among them are about20species,11genera,10families,in gymnospermeae.1010species,367genera and77families,in Angiosperm,angiosperms accounted for the largest proportion of this areaof medicinal plants,was96.9%.It can be clearly seen that in this area have richnumber of families,genera and species,rather complex and varied ingredients,whichshows the complexity and richness of its composition,reflecting the plant distributionin Altay and adapting to the climate of this region.The flora in this region,which consisted of complicated geographic element，interconnected and interpenetrated with other flora broadly.The transition of the flora wasobvious to a certain extent.By analyzing the geographical component,it shows thatthe families of wild vascular plant are divided into5types and8subtypes. Amongthem,there are22families belonging to world type,occupied27.5%of the totalnon-cosmopolitan families.Analysis of the floristic composition and the geographic elements shows thatthe flora has a complex composition.Temperate floristic elements which belong to306genera make significant dominant in this area,in which the percentage of Temperategenera the highest,making up95.14%(not including the cosmopolitan species),It isindicated that this area showes the typical temperate characteristics of the flora. Furthermore,characteristics of life form in the floristics show that perennial herbis dominant in the flora,which shows characteristics of the plant communitycomposition. which shows particularity of the geographical position and environment.Moreover, it has a lower level of endemic.In the results of the survey for the medicinal parts of Altay medicinal plants areshowed that the herbs、roots、rattans are more than flowers、fruits and the seeds.The qualitative and quantitative principles were adopted to determine the threatenedstatus of threateand endangered plants in Altay,according to the study on the Plantsgeographic distribution,population and ecological environment.This article statisticthe rare endangered medicinal plants,the reason of endangered and problems theyhave,and Based on the flora characteristics and the actual conditions of Altay,threeproposes are brought forward．...
