Problem Analysis And Countermeasure Discussion On Resources And Environment Of Jiangsu Province

Since the reform and open policy, the economy of Jiangsu province has kept a high-speed development. In 2004, the GDP of Jiangsu province amounts to 15512.4 billions Yuan, which is the second place in our country with the 11.36% share of the whole nation. At the same time, the GDP of Jiangsu province has maintained two-figure growth for continuous 13 years, and the per capita GDP breaks through 20000 Yuan. Viewing from the principle of economic development, Jiangsu province is facing the most serious restriction of resources, environment and so on. It is very significant for the economic development of Jiangsu province to know well the present situation and problems of resources and environment in Jiangsu province, and probe the solving countermeasure through research.Firstly, through analyzing massive materials and data, this paper summarizes the main problems of resources and environment confronted with Jiangsu province, which are the decrease of per capita amount of land and water resources, the insufficient amount and low self-support rate of mineral and power resources, the low use efficiency and serious waste phenomena, the great emitting quantity of waste water, waste gas and kinds of pollutants, the worrying water quality of surface water and seawater, the bad air condition and the heavy pollution of acid rain.Secondly, it analyses the cause of resources and environment problems in Jiangsu province from three aspects of population, the development concept and the mode of growth, the property rights of resources and environment.
