The Decision-making Of Outsourcing Based On DEA Model

With the global development of IT and economy, outsourcing has become a practical choice to more and more enterprises that are searching new positive management means and tools of outsourcing decision-making. The thesis aims to solving the problem of outsourcing or not, using the combination method of quantitative research and qualitative research.First of all, thesis explains the necessity of outsourcing and the importance of decision-making of outsourcing, and structures the Trustee-Agent Profit model from system economics to expound the probability of outsourcing. Then the study on relevant theories has done and developed by different scholars is the theoretical foundation for the thesis. The different discussion and analysis on outsourcing decision-making are used to expand the thinking for afterwards.Secondly, thesis proves the main factors of outsourcing decision-making. A large number of document read, recapitulative summarize; Supposing he key point of technological ability, market ability and organizational ability, through making investigation and researching datum to support the validity of supposition; then sum up the evaluation index on outsourcing decision-making.Finally, thesis sets up DEA outsourcing decision-making model. This model is suitable for kinds of departments that have more inputting, more outputting, and more uncertain factors. Based on the demonstration of Dalian Shipyard Corporation, thesis forms the outsourcing decision-making conclusion basically: If decision-making unit exists economic validity, and the variable of relaxing of every factor is zero, this ability is adopted and worked in the department; If decision-making unit doesn't exist economic validity, this ability adopt outsourcing; If decision-making unit has economic validity, but the variable of relaxing of every factor is not zero, whether this ability could be outsourcing ,should adapts to the total strategy of enterprises.In the last part of the thesis, what has been not enough studied to the thesis was summarized.
