Design Of Logistics Information System Based On GIS

Current, the level of information modernization and automation in logistics management in our country are not high . The benefit is too low. For increasing the modern logistics information technical application, a flood of thesis about the settle scheme, the process and the problem in logistics give abroad and thorough research. In this background, I wrote this paper. The research core is that how to construct the GIS congruence logistics management information system.Geography information system is a very powerful tool which is used at high quality cartography , the source management , the environment analysis and the traffic management and so on. At the same time , the high efficiency and short cut logistics management is very important to the logistics enterprise . This paper introduces the development of the Geography information system and the logistics firstly , and then discuss the inosculation of GIS and the logistics management , moreover bring forward the logistics management scheme which is at the basis of GIS technically and how to use GIS for the logistics management . The systematism and network of the logistics management is the aim of the scheme.At last I give a case about Xinhua center of hebei subsidiary of China National Materials Storage and Transportation Corporation for showing the process of how to establish the GIS logistics management .
