Research On Supplier Selection And Risk Prevention Of International Project Procurement Management

After twenty years' economic reform policy, China has strengthened its economy ability greatly and come out a great many of construction chances. Since China's entry into WTO, the internal construction firms have been growing and have entered the construction projects of overseas. In the same time, more and more foreign companies come in and join in the architectural construction of China. We Chinese companies have found more chances in many developing countries such as African countries, Latin American countries and the south Asian countries. The multi-countries' construction corporation whose form is turnkey solution has come to be a trend .In this trend, procurement management is one of the critical step of saving the cost and keeping the engineer time.This thesis's aim is to study supplier selection and procurement risk of the procurement management in overseas construction projects. Firstly, it introduces the background of the overseas procurement and how to avoid the procurement risks. Secondly, it discusses the contracts management in procurement and the base of writing the plans of procurement. Thirdly, it shows a new mode of risk prevention and discusses the content of the thesis by a real case.
