With the boosting of control system scale and the decrease in network hardware and software cost, control network has witnessed a rapid growth in its applications. Integrating sensors, controllers, actuators as well as communication networks, networked and real-time feedback control system, which provides communication between control equipment and thus makes possible the resource sharing and coordinated operation among distributed users. Due to its distributed structure, NCS features many advantages such as simple cabling, easer upgrading, greater reliability and information sharing.Meanwhile, the limited data rate over the network also introduces many problems into the control system, such as random transportation delay, data-package dropping, extra system complexity due to the decentralized structure etc.In this paper, some recent results in linear system, periodically time-varying(or PTV)systems, time-delay system as well as NCS itself are further discussed and further extended. The mathematic model of networked control systems with long network-induced delay is set up based on the controlled process that is singular system when the sensor is time driven, the controller and the actuator are event driven. According to the given model, we give the fixed modes and discuss decentralized control about the case. An example is given on how the theorem can be applied.
