Wireless sensor network, which integrates technologies of micro-electro-mechanism sensing, embedded computing, distributed information processing and wireless communication, lead to a new pattern of information gathering and processing. The fundamental problems of sensor networks are deployment and coverage, localization, and networking protocols. And localization, which has been focused as a basic problem, is the precondition of many applications of sensor networks, such as target identification, surveillance and tracking.In practice, the perfect positioning technology like GPS localization technology confined to its positioning time, pointing accuracy as well as complex environment factor, is unable completely to meet the omni-direction localization need, especially in indoor environment. Therefore, the related research of high accuracy localization technology is paid much attention, many researches devote to the high accuracy indoor location goal. The research in this paper focuses on location technology of wireless sensor network, especially on indoor location technology.To solve the problems of practical situations, some researches are as follows:the structure, the main characteristics and the application of wireless sensor network are discussed comprehensively; the characteristic and the sensor node location technology of wireless sensor network indoor location system are studied systematically; the location algorithems of typical indoor location system are analyzed thoroughly; the location technology based on ultrasonic-radio signal is researched systematically.Researching on the algorithms of avoidance, detection and filtering for solving the problem of distance measurement interference. The problem of inaccurate sample is solved and the measurement precision is improved. The target tracking algorthems based on Kalman filter are analyzed. The processing method is put forward when Kalman filter state is bad.Based on the theoretical study, the sensor node location and tracking are completed in experimental platform. The result of the experiment demonstrates that the algorithms have the characteristic of highly real-time detection, strong adaptability and high precision.
