In a perfect engineering control system, it not only needs a well stable character, but also needs a temporary character to guarantee the transition behavior. And a satisfactory temporary character is related to the poles of the systems. So the problems of the pole appointments have been an attractive issue for many control researchers. The approaches of exact pole appointments can't be obtained because of the uncertainties of the model or the existences of the disturbances. In the actual designing process, the satisfactory transient behavior can often be achieved by enforcing the closed-loop poles lay within a suitable region. So it is necessary to research the problems of the regional pole constraints. In this paper, we study the problems of robust control for uncertain systems with pole constraints in a special region. The main contents of this paper are as followed:In chapter 2, the problem of guaranteed cost controller design against actuator faults is discussed for the uncertain systems with pole constraints in a special disk. The state feedback controller which is designed against actuator faults guarantees that the poles of the closed-loop systems are assigned in a special disk and the systems provide a guaranteed cost. The guaranteed cost reliable controller can be obtained via the linear matrix inequality (LMI).In chapter 3, the design problem of H∞, guaranteed cost controller for a class of uncertain systems with poles placed in a special disk is discussed. The controller guarantees that the poles of the closed-loop systems placed in a special disk and the H∞-bounded constraint on attenuation disturbances and the systems provide a guaranteed cost. The H∞guaranteed cost controller can be obtained via LMI.In chapter 4, the design problem of robust non-fragile controller for a class of uncertain systems with pole constraints in an ellipse is investigated. Assuming that the controller gain perturbations are norm-bounded, then two classes of perturbations are considered, namely, additive and multiplicative. The existence conditions and the design method of robust non-fragile controller for the closed-loop systems with pole assignments in an ellipse are proposed via linear matrix inequality. In chapter 5, for a class of uncertain systesms, the design method for reliable tracking controller against actuator faults with pole constraints in an ellipse is discussed. The state feedback controller makes the outputs of systems track reference inputs reliably and meet the dynamic characteristics. The design method of state feedback reliable controller can be achieved via LMI.In every part, the example and simulink curves are given correspondingly to prove the effectiveness of the conclusion.
