Artificial intelligence uses artificial methods by computer to make the purpose of extension and expansion of human intelligence, simulation of human thinking process and intelligent behavior come true. Artificial intelligence is divided into two forms, weak artificial intelligence and strong artificial intelligence. The weak artificial intelligence develops the machine which has the capability of logic judgement, data storage, data search by codes; strong artificial intelligence makes the machine which is able to generate awareness of thinking and own fairly even over human intelligence. Over half a century, the development of artificial intelligence goes through three stages, simulation of a basic logic judgement and symbol processing, simulation of specific areas intelligence and simulation of common daily intelligence. Today, artificial intelligence has reached the level that can detect the human mind, and succeed in simulating the neural activity in a rat's cerebral cortex and even creating a lifelike robot. Although artificial intelligence research has made tremendous progress, but further development not only faces a lot of bottleneck problems of philosophy, just like intent problem, knowledge frameworks problem, context identification problem, methods of reducing problem, but also faces many philosophical difficulties, just like depriving people freedom of thought, shaking the status of human subjectivity, threatening human existence. Therefore, the artificial intelligence research must adhere to the principle of people oriented, and by the premise of the technology for human use and not harming the people's long-term fundamental behalf, it can healthily developed.
