The Design And Development Of Mobile Phone E-Book Reader

In recent years, with the rapid development of global mobile communications industry, 3G (third generation mobile communication technology) gradually becomes the mainstream mobile communication technology. In 3G era, Data Value-added Services are the development direction of mobile communication services and play a dominant role in the future mobile communications.According to the Analysis and Prediction of "3G industry report",the first high-speed growth of 3G services include mobile games, mobile phone read and wireless music. In January 2010, CNNIC published the "China Internet Development Statistics Report":"The first one is cell phone-line chat, the proportion of users accounts for 77.8% of total mobile phone users, the second cell phone to read, the proportion of users accounts for 75.4% of total mobile phone users". Therefore,3G mobile phone software development and research is very important.The project is a customized machine e-surfing 3G R & D projects which LongCheer develops for China Telecom. E-book reader is one of the mobile phone software module projects.The Qualcomm CDMA chips and BREW software platform are adopted in this project. According to the analysis of E-book customers' needs and technical feasibility, the researchers have completed the design and development of the E-book reader software through procedures such as overall design, detailed design, coding and testing, etc, achieving reading functions like adding, downloading, deleting, sending, renamng, details, bookmarks, jump, background settings and full-screen reading,etc.Through continuous testing and improvement, E-book reader is stable. The testing and verification in real device has carried out to meet the customers' requirements which have reached the standards of the customers' requirements.
