Peer-to-peer(P2P) network is a new communication mode, every participator has the equivalent ability, and can initiate a communication session. It is a revolution to the traditional Client/Server mode network. It can combine widely resources; has high computation ability and bandwidth usage; be strong in information searching; and be robust and extensible. P2P network appears in the early days of internet, widely developed in late 90th last century. It can be used in sharing files, distributed computing, anonymous network, and instant message. It also can be divided to four kinds by topology. This paper analyses the security issue of P2P network form six aspects: trust system, contribution measurement, privacy leaking, virus spreading, copyright protect, and monitoring method. Especially studied the security issue of eMule protocol, pointed out the leaks of eMule protocol based on experiment, and proposed a new eMule network attacking technology. Using this technology, we designed the attack flow, and developed a eMule attack platform based on the clarity network bridge system. During the development, we conquered difficult like TCP stream not in sequence, HTTP stream compress, HTTP stream detection and replace, fake URL real time generation, and fake URL download insurance. We successfully held the simulation attack experiment; experiment result shows this eMule attack technology is reliable, faster running, and hard to discover.
