Design And Implementation Of Information Service Portal In Cultural Sharing Project

Information service portal integrates multiple application systems, data resources and internet resources into an information management platform and provide user with unified user interface of varied service information. As a part of culture sharing program platform, information service portal offers function like information browsing, expert online, price information, buy & sell information posting, survey, member center, etc.The author starts with the function which information service portal is supposed to offer and plans and designs the system based on the analysis of the function and technical feature of the two major parts– information interaction platform and information service platform and also according to the thorough understanding and analysis of the system. In this paper, the background, domestic and foreign research status is explained firstly. Then the author introduced key theory and technology such as J2EE, database and software integration. The architecture, function module and key business process is designed according to the function of information sharing program platform and information service portal. Struts+spring+iBatis is selected as architecture so as to solve the problem of layers in previous method. Struts is for presentation layer. Spring is for application layer. iBatis is for persistent layer. Web cache technique is used when deploying the system. Squid is used as the caching server of web pages and picture so as to lower the load of portal server and speed up user access.The system is tested with Loadrunner mainly on the parallel performance after deploying. After long time of pressure test, the system performed normally and meet the designed standard.
