Design And Implementation Of Student Information Management System

With the expanding scale of enrollment in recent years, it will evidently waste a lot of manpower, material and financial resources by the traditional student information management schema, for instance, using direct manual management or lower openness management system. Therefore, how to establish a suitable student information management system to improve management level has become an important issue to be resolved in most of education institutions.This course is to design a management system for the students information by internet so that each department can check the change and update of each student's info at anytime. Unlike the telephone and papers, with this system, including enrollment and graduation, every single student will have their status recorded directly. This makes communication among different departments and students easier and faster.In need of the management requirement, such as user-friendly, modernization and easy operation and so on, the topic will design a student information management system. Based on database technology and under ASP.NET development environment, we develop the B/S system. This paper is organized as follows. Firstly, the current status of Information Management System is given; secondly, it introduces the technologies in use, project requirements and design; finally, the treatise presents the realization of the system and relevant testing.It is evident that the system, which is not only running reliably, but also user-friendly and easily operated, improves the efficiency of management, and ensures the accuracy of information.
