Mobile Agent (MA) is a mixture technology which combines agent with distributed technology. It can move from one host on the network to another, and communicate with other agents or interactive with local resource. As its intrinsic advantage, MA has been widely applied in many fields. For example, in the development of virtual enterprise (VE), agent has become an excellent solution for VE. Especially Research on security of VE based on mobile agent has become a reaseach focus in the field of VE. So more and more scholars think mobile agent technology will provide a unified, distributed computing model. The model can be used to build a variety of distributed computing platforms and applications. But in order to make for a wider range of applications, communication mechanism is one of its key technologies. Therefore, the study of communication mechanism is of great significance.At present, as for mobile agent communication mechanism for the research, many scholars put forward a number of different resolutions. In this paper we analyse some of main elements which affect MA's advantages, then propose an improved communication algorithm based multicast and single mailbox. The algorithm on the basic of mailbox advantages, combinating the way of multicast, updates the agent communication addresses continuously. When agent is beginning to migrate, all messges to Agent will be buffered in an appointed mailbox which is assigned by the agent. After the migration is completed, while doing the task in the node, while retrieve the messages from the mailbox. In this way, completing the task and getting messages at the same time, it not only makes time efficient, but also improves the timeliness of the message.when above two are finished, Agent start to migrate again.Through its effcience to prove that the algorithm provides a safe and reliable, immediate and effective means of communication.Further, we take VE interactive authentication as an example in this paper, and reaseach the application of MA. At last, we design a sysytem of VE authentication using agent-oriented programming (AOP) methods, it confirms the algorithm is safe and reliable and message is transmitted in real time.
