Trunking communication is developing rapidly in recent years. It has the advantages of fast access, safe communication, efficient schedule, shared resource, etc. Trunking communication products will become an effective platform that can improve the efficiency of command and communications of various government departments to strengthen coordination and collaboration. In order to deal with various emergency contingencies, a temporary compact trunking communication network is desired.This thesis mainly focuses on the realization of RF link in the compact trunking communication system. Due to the impact of the system's overall specifications on the performance, communication products have direct influence on the communication quality. Therefore, well-designed RF link trunking products will become the key elements of the communication system.Based on the existing domestic and international technologies, the RF communication link design theory of trunking base station and engineering application are studied in this research. Firstly, the analysis of low-noise amplifier circuit, the mixer circuit, the phase locked loop circuit, the power amplifier, the impedance matching circuit and the principle of trunking communication base station receiving, as well as the transmitting system are given in this paper. This paper also introduces the program of RF communication link, the test methods and the design in detail. Finally, the rules for the receiving and transmitting modules board layout are described and the unit circuit test solutions and results are presented, this paper provides a practical engineering case for the trunking communication RF link system and facilitates the related product design.
