Stealth targets pose a grave threat to radar. An important breakthrough point to improve the anti-stealth ability of modern radar is to make use of targets'polarization characteristics and frequency resonant characteristics. In this paper, problems in anti-stealth with quad-polarization meter-band radar are proposed for some advanced research project.Targets' polarization characteristics is generally introduced, the problem that the RCS of several stealth targets'scaled models is hard to measure is analyzed, the RCS measurement methods in the frequency range 50MHz-300MHz are discussed, low frequency range RCS measurement results in the cases of HH, HV, VV and VH are analyzed and the resonant effect of stealth target in meter-band is validated. According to stealth target's polarization characteristics, the working pattern of quad-polarization meter-band radar is brought forward, that is, making use of polarization information processing and resonant effect to realize radar anti-stealth. The research on antijamming using several kinds of polarization filters is carried on according to jamming's different polarization characteristics. Polarimetric adaptive matched filtering detector using multi-channel to detect stealth target is selected for quad-polarization working mode. All band working is introduced and the means of optimum frequency selection is adopted to improve the ability of detecting stealth targets as a result of stealth targets' frequency sensitivity in meter-band. The validity of the schema is indicated by RCS measured data and computer simulation results.
