Meridian Theory researches on circulation, distribution, physiology, pathological change of human meridian and their relationship with viscera. Based on clinical application of acupuncture point, it mainly expatiates connection pathway within human body, that is, the connection within body surface, internal organs, and the connection between both. It is due to this connection of meridian system that each part of life organism connects with, harmonizes, stimulates and restricts each other, in this way, they form a unified organic system with internal harmony and stability while at the same time, it is closely related with external environment. It is an imperative part of basic theory of Chinese medicine, and has been leading the role for clinical application of Chinese medicine for thousands of years.Meridian system works to connect organic system, link internal with external, circulate qi and blood, nourish the body, repel sickness and protect body organism. By acupuncture, stimulation and massage on acupoint, mal-functional meridian system could be converted to help recover organism, which further stimulates its healing capacity. In this way, the actual situation could be adjusted so that the body could recover. It totally lies on digging out and stirring up human body's capability on disease resist and not any medicine is required. Therefore, it is very good for our health to study meridian knowledge. By this way, people don't have to go to hospitals and could cure some common illness by themselves.Meridian system is the precious medical data our forefathers left to us. However, there are still misperception and bespatter on it. Under the development of society and internationalization, more and more people have recognized and became aware of its special effects and efficacy. Hence, designing and developing a set of meridian system to let more people to know meridian not only helps to carry forward our theory of Chinese traditional medicine, but also plays a good part in professional teaching and disease curing so that more and more people could benefit from the broad and profound Chinese medicine knowledge. Main task of the thesis:(1)Design and Implement human Meridian system database based on Chinese traditional medicine theory, including Meridian system data, acupoint data, organic function, principle indications and reconstitution, health knowledge etc.(2)Realize querying Meridian system, acupoint and function information by designing a referral information system of acupoint.(3)Realize interactive and visible operation for the information of circulation and distribution of Meridian system, position of acupoint, function principle indications and compatibility of points by making use of image scaling and animation techniques.(4)Dynamically generate support diagnosis information based on Meridian system database, utilize technology of data association, in accordance with acupoint principle indications and compatibility of points.(5)Realize querying knowledge of Meridian system and Chinese traditional medicine based on health knowledge, in order to make people know and understand the theory of Meridian system, thereby make it serve the public health.
