Public emergencies are major issues facing our country, which attract great attention of the government and the public. In the master state plan for rapid response to public emergencies, scientific and technological support occupies a part. Scientific technology is important to public emergencies. As an important way to spread science and technology, science and technology news play an irreplaceable role in public emergencies. In this thesis, I choose the agenda-setting as the theoretical framework, public emergencies as the object of study. I study the outbreak of H1N1 in April 2009 in the global from the viewpoint of science and technology news of communication. I do the in-depth analysis combining case studies with sample survey methods. The article gives the proposed strategy to the science and technology reports on public emergency in China, thus playing a positive role in dealing with public emergency. |
