The conventional computerized logging systems mainly adopt vehicle-mounted cabinet systems which have abundant functions and integrated hardware configuration. Because of its huge bodies and high prices, they are not appropriate for offshore oil logging operation. Besides, former logging trucks are widely used in domestic market and can not provide enough space to accommodate conventional cabinet system.In order to solve this problem, a new and portable logging signal processing system based on master-slave DSP is proposed by the study of digital signal processing. Meanwhile a master-slave multi-micro controller unit based on CAN bus is introdued by analyzing the type of transmitted logging signal and referencing to the characteristics of Field Control System. This paper is not only describing hardware designing and software programming for signal separation module, signal processing module and data communication module, but also introducing CCS integrated development environment and designing software for those modules.This system separates the different types of logging signals by single chip microcomputer and processes the analog signals, impulse signals and coding signals by TMS320F2812.In order to ensure the validity of logging data, FIR digital filter and software anti-interference technology were applied to decrease signal amplitude attenuation and external interference caused by the long-distance cable transferring logging signals.The DSP chips, CAN field bus and master-slave architecture were combined together to meet the requirement of signal processing in logging procedure. It can remarkably improve the real time ability and the reliability of data transmission, and is easy to be extended.It is proved that the design of logging signal processing system based on master-slave DSP can accurately extract original logging information transmitted by underground instrument, measure the data parameter's dynamic changes in process of logging operation, and meet the requirement of proposed system.
