With deeply developing of science and digitization of document, management of digitization document resources has become one of the main patterns of the resource management. Digitization document and resource sharing base on network technology and computer technology, which images, paper documents and video are digitalized. The digitalized resources is organized in a pattern, then provided to users as a resource service. Such saving and using pattern not only obtains the goal of document resources protection and utilization, but also largely expands the scope of the usage of resources, making the role of existing historical documents play further.Firstly, several platforms digitalizing documents and sharing resources from home and abroad are deeply analyzed including several large-scale ones. Secondly current situation of digitization and needs in Shaanxi province are comprehensively investigated. Then digitization requirements in Shaanxi province are fully analyzed. The requirements are unpredictable and variable, which determine the developing policy. The policy is that system base on plug-in technology. The main work of this essay includes:1. Investigate the current situation of document digitization and research the key technology used to implement it. The key technologies include:LAMP technology, plug-in technology, and standards about digitizing document and science document retrieval from home and abroad including Shaanxi province. The rules of saving data and document retrieval are formed.2. System requirements and business requirement are analyzed. The system architecture is formed which base on plug-in technology, also the system structure, main function modules of the system and the logical relationship.3. Design architecture of plug-in system including interface used to manage plug-ins and used to perform plug-ins'functions. all functional module are designed including connection module in plug-in system, management of plug-in. 4. The core function, data acceptor, is implemented. So is the plug-in system. This paper gives examples show the plug-in system which can not only display the simplicity and convenience of plug-in technology in the system function expansion, but also have several advantages such as shortening the development time, reducing maintenance cost and so on.
