Multi-input Multi-output system is a wireless transmission system which adopts multiple transmit antennas and multiple receive antennas. MIMO technology signifi- cantly improves the system capacity and the performance of wireless communication systems. In order to further meet the communication requirements, we propose a MI- MO precoding technique.MIMO precoding, which uses the channel state information at the transmitter, is proposed to reduce the complexity of the receiver equipment and eliminate the inter- ference between users. Combined with Huawei Fund Project, some key problems of li- near precoding in MIMO system are investigated by theoretical analysis and simula- tion.The main results and contents of the paper are as follows :Linear precoding designs method based on statistics the channel feedback model and the limited feedback model for MIMO system with imperfect CSI at the transmitter. Using the channel mean feedback model, this paper improve the traditional water filling algorithm and present a joint power allocation and adaptive modulation scheme.Linear precoding designs method based on maximal SJNR criterion for multiuser MIMO system with perfect CSI at the transmitter. This criterion takes into consider- ation of both the CCI and noise at the same time, and therefore, it could effectively improve the system performance. On this basis, SJNR precoding performance based on Turbo codes is studied.
