In the recent years, the degree of information technology in business is very high. As e-commerce applications and enterprise information systems are more and more mature, many companies have decided to introduce one or more enterprise information systems into their company. As the enterprise information system plays a more and more important role in modern company; design, construct and implement powerful, stable, highly scalable, easy to maintain, secure and reliable enterprise applications are very important for the modern enterprises.The traditional Browser/Server structure web application has come to an extreme after nearly 10 years evolvement. The shortcomings of the B/S structure gradually show up. With the enhancement of computer hardware, in order to get a better user experience, lots of rich-client internet application technologies are coming into view. Flex enterprise rich-client technology came out top amongst them.This Article aims to provide a solid foundation for build Flex enterprise rich client applications rapidly by studying the characteristics and main modules of the Flex rich-client technology and the system architecture of flex enterprise application system, and the integration with J2EE, as well as new Flex rich-client technologies Through the research of a variety of existing Flex-based rich client application framework, this article wants to build a stable, able to meet a variety of requirements and enterprise standards system architecture. At the same time, this article introduced flex real-time messaging and flex data center into the view. The design of those two modules provides a reference for the Flex developers to design other modules.
