As the rapid development of modern communication technology represented by the network technology, the information construction of the armed forces fly with wings. Border monitoring station as an important supplementary means of border patrol duty is playing a great role that can not be replaced. Border information, as the foundation for building information platform, which integrates remote transmission control, anti-Vietnam alarm, Beidou positioning system in one, is with efficient and safe characteristics in the aspects of gathering intelligence, reporting situation, command and control in the border areas.This article mainly discusses the following points:I. the design & study background of border monitoring station With the continuous development of the regional economy in the realm of river edge, illegal cross-border incidents continue to happen despite being banned, the existing border monitoring station has been unable to meet the needs of the current border duty, there are a lot of shortcomings mainly as the following points:A), Observe just in the short distance and can only be observed in the daytime, not be used at night, rain, snow, fog and other weather conditions.B),The system can not contact the network of higher authorities, dispose in time, report or receive information.C), Control mainly by manual, low degree of automation, there are more blind spots.D),The video can not be digital storage, retrieval and playback, the system work is less efficient.Compared to traditional monitoring station, the new monitoring station has the following advantages:A), Observe in far distance, using infrared thermal imaging technology, in the day, night, rain and snow, fog and other weather conditions under normal use.B), Can be superior control center connectivity, real-time receipt, disposal and reporting of information.C), You can automatically scan, anti-Vietnam alarm, Beidou positioning capabilities, automatic high level, the operation is simple and efficient.D),All information is digitized having improved work efficiency. According to border military IP network-based people, design study of a new border control points instead of the traditional monitoring station has become an urgent need for border guards.II. The composition of the border control stations and principle of Border monitoring station.Primarily consists of three parts that are front-end systems, back-end systems and communication transmission system. One front-end system includes optical rotary table and control cabinet, the back-end system includes control stations and TV wall, communications transmission system includes PDH, Ethernet bridge, the network codes and multimedia switching platforms.The operator remotely controls the optical turntable through the console and set the operating mode. The video image information transferred to the back-end control units, control units to decode the video image information to generate a standard video signal transmission for the purpose to the present level TV wall displays and record through the DVR system, storage, retrieval and playback. Software system is easy to operate, powerful, good expansibility. The basic control process is:To set the order signal by border monitoring station software system, when operators are working on the software systems, the order signals corresponding to operation are sent to the front-end of monitoring station through the network to complete the front-end device control. The software system may display what it gathers from front-end devices through the network to send back video signal and feedback signal in the display control device for the next operation.V. Border monitoring station an overview of key technologiesThe new type border monitoring station is located near to river, and natural weather condition is poor. For the system has strict requirements to equipment performance, the following technical problems must be resolved in order to realize the designation of monitor and control station.A). High-magnification continuous zoom optical lens technologyB). Image acquisition and remote transmission technology.C). Transparent fog processing technology and image enhancement.D). Infrared image processing technology.Due to the communications, technology, capital and other restrictions, border monitoring station designed in the paper has inadequacies, which need to be improve and completed at the following aspects in the future research and development:A). The expandability of border control station system needs to be further completed. Rely on higher-level control center, to achieve border control station system information of relay transmission processing.B). With upgrade the IP network bandwidth to further enhance the communication transmission system performance and to improve quality of image transmission.C). Complete the software platform capabilities, streamline operational processes to achieve an intelligent border control station operations.
