Zhonghua Book Company is one of China's most influential contemporary publishing companies, its success apparently owed to Lufei Kui's everlasting business philosophies and business strategies.This thesis takes Lufei's publishing activities as breakthrough point and reaches several major conclusions on Lufei's business philosophies and strategies. His business philosophies include promoting education and thus social progress, inheriting essence of both the east and the west, and pushing culture to flourish. His business strategies include focusing on textbooks, employing diversified modes of operation, and training talented people in the headquarters and then sending them to manage the company's branches. All the strategies had contributed to the realization of Lufei's concept of'reward'. This thesis is aimed to bring reflection and inspiration to contemporary publishing professionals.
