BIOS-based Digital Copyright Protection Technology Research

With current technology, digital content distribution and conservation has changed, traditional media turned to digital. Use the original CD, CD-ROM and other physical media for storage and sale of copyrighted digital content has not been adequately protected the legitimate rights, and interests of content providers virtually been damaged. Traditional digital content copyright protection technology is handled in all operating system level, the legitimacy of the use of digital content authentication system level authentication, the system if there are problems, DRM systems, which will appear unsafe use of digital content, will also face crisis, the protection of digital content will also defeat the purpose. In Order to study the way the underlying implementation of the certification process, the issues raised from the bottom BIOS permissions for digital content authentication processing, combined with software and hardware, with the hope to better protect digital content. The research is placed with peripheral KEY authentication information, to the underlying authentication. In the research of digital copyright protection BIOS-based technology, combined with the modular design of the original BIOS to carry out, the entire subject of study design combined with the underlying BIOS features and advantages of the original DRM system technology, and authentication information will be stored in peripheral KEY, enhance authentication information, which will be stored and used in security.
