With continuous development and application of large-scale systems, system EMC design has been more and more attentive. Since co-site interference is a primary factor for system electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), research of it has became an important precondition and guarantee for restraining the interference and making a system EMC design. There have lots of co-site interference prediction methods existed nowadays. Among all these methods, the most widely used one is the four-level filtration method, which uses SNR as prediction criterion to predict the interference. Using this method to analog communication system can get accurate result, but when to digital system will get appreciable error. Presently, there have no suitable one co-site interference prediction method both integrity and precise for digital system. For this purpose, a method of co-site interference prediction based on BER analysis for digital system is provided in this paper. The article firstly applies the system EMC prediction theory, uses MATLAB SIMULINK to establish digital system three or four channels co-site interference emulational models, in allusion to digital system co-site interference makes interference prediction analysis and provides the co-site interference suppression measures. Then, a whole software frame of system co-site interference prediction based on coupling value, signal power and BER unite analysis is established and some of the software functions are achieved. This paper makes a research of digital system co-site interference EMC prediction and solves the problem of the lack of suitable digital system EMC prediction method. The theoretical simulation and the results of the implementation prove that using the method of co-site interference prediction based on BER analysis to predict the co-site interference not only can acquire more accurate prediction results but also do offer a theory and an engineering guidance for system EMC design.
