Design And Implementation Of Virtual Machine Cluster Monitor System Based On Rails

With server virtualization large-scale deployment in data centers, data centers to create and use virtual machines more and more, the demand of specific monitor tools for virtual machine and cluster increases. This dissertation can be designed to achieve a B/S system to centrally monitor the data center after a large-scale deployment of virtualization and virtual machines located in different physical computers.This dissertation first introduces the related technologies used by the the system development of virtual machine cluster monitor system, with the study of functional requirements, based on the principles of layered architecture design, given the hierarchical structure of the system design ,and based on Rails framework and the Flex front-end development technology, completed the overall system architecture of the server layer, and in turn to completed the main system function module, the user interface module, task execution module, information collection module, cluster monitor module, communication module design and implementation. Finally that completed design and implementation of the overall system database. Throuth building a small cluster of real hardware environment, that has completed system testing for the virtual machine cluster monitor system.
