Design And Implementation Of Embedded Wireless Democratic Evaluation System

With the development of information, intelligence and networks, embedded systems technology obtains a broad space for development. Especially with the development of wireless communication technology, our lives have been enormously changed .The research and development based on embedded wireless products has become increasingly popular. These products are widely used in daily life, military defense, consumer electronics, instrumentation, network communications, industrial control and other fields. Embedded systems software and hardware development has been considered to be a good potential research field.In this paper, research and inplementation on the software and hardware development of the embedded system is conducted. The system is based on the Wireless LAN technology. The production of Samsung's ARM9-based core S3C2440A 16/32-bit RISC microprocessors are chosen as the CPU. The USB port is used to external storage device and a wireless network adapter expansion and 256K-color 3.5-inch TFT color 240x320 TFT touch-screen interface.A full-featured embedded system includes two parts: the hardware resources and software system. During the designing for the platform of the hardware, the development flow of embedded system, S3C2440 CPU, choosing of memory, and the choosing and designing of various equipment interfaces are introduced and discussed. During the designing for the software platform, development tools, PB, is in accordance with the requirements of the system based on the Windows CE operating system in the reduction of custom and wireless network transplantation. The application with Visual Studio 2005 based on the IP address under UDP (User Datagram Protocol) has been developed to communication between the clients and the servers. Finally, a data transmission-line test has been carried out, and the test results show that the system designed can meet the basic requirements of the design.
