The Research Of Processing-based Interactive Multimedia Design

With the development of science and technology in promoting the process of human civilization, it is also constant deconstruction and reconstruction of people's way of life. Now the Digital Time is coming, people is no longer satisfied with the information on the passive acceptance of external, interactive media as a new technology in the context of information bearing media has been given a more humanistic characteristics. All of this for designers and artists to provide an unprecedented platform to display creativity, at the moment, many excellent works of interactive media such as sprung before us.Processing is a programming language for designer and artist, which is created by Casey Reas and Ben Fry from Aesthetics & Computation Group in M.I.T. Media Laboratory, users need not have been too high with a depth of programming would be able to achieve fantastic vision display and interactive media works. Besides, it can also be combined with Arduino and other related hardware, the design of interactive systems is complete and highly scalable.Most previous studies of interactive media will focus mostly targeted at the technical realization while the field of humanities is relatively small.In this paper, the main technology platform Processing delve into the design of the current status of interactive media, combined with relevant examples of the theory of artistic and technical analysis, and analytical psychology of the audience to further explore the interaction of cross-media core concept. This article from the designers point of view, weaken the function of the realization of the appropriate technical analysis, design thinking to focus on the collation and extraction, the latter theory into practice,and design complete examples of interactive media.
