Research On Children's Blog In The Context Of Communication

With the wide development of internet, blog has become a noticeable part of network. The research on Blog has also come into the experts and the scholars' eyesight, and large quantities of papers which focus on the whole framework of the blog have come out. In the meantime, more and more children, especially urban children, are in the course of being a blogger. However, there are little in the academia looking into the children's blog. As a result, it's in urgent need to make a study of children's blog from the aspect of communication theories.This paper is divided into four parts to analyze and research on children's blog. There is just a little theory experience and achievements to use for reference, so the author mainly uses the method of questionnaire survey and choose a sample to make content analysis of children's blog.In the beginning of the article, the author describes the phenomenon of children's blog, the reason of it's springing up, and it's value.In the second part the author mainly refers to the 7w theory in communication studies, make a systematic and comprehensive analysis on children's blog from the perspective of Who, Says What, In Which Channel, To Whom, With What Effect, For What Purpose, In What context in the first time, and enrich the blog study theory which is still new and developing. In the study the author realizes when a child is outputting and releasing information, he/she tends to be honest and show whatever he/she is, but it's hard for him/her to keep writing in blog for a long time. What children said in the blog is suit for sharing, but it's short and disordered too. Children will choose text, photos, audios, etc. to keep track of what they would say in the blog. However, they seldom use the function of Trackback, Tag, and RSS which is difficult to understand. Among the current children blog, the professional children's blog and the blog designed for classmates are the most popular. Some website has set up "gatekeeper" to filter news, check fact, and protect children from the dizzy information in the net. The children act different in different circumstances. If the members of the blog sphere keeping a regular and steady touch with each other, to the deepest degree, the children's interest in writing blog will last long and be steady.The third part chooses a well-developed blog as model, then makes some detailed study about its characteristics from some aspects of communication studies.In the end of the article, the author thinks up a conception about an ideal children's blog, bring up an idea that the children's blog should base on the website which is filled with knowledge, which may set a good example for the healthy development of children's blog.
