Design And Implementation Of Integrated Query Subsystem In Integrated Billing System

As a significant part of the telecom Operation Support Systems (OSS), billing & accounting system is an important tool to improve running and managing efficiency, increase quality of service, provide data support and take back calling fee. The development and maintenance of the Operation Support System faces great challenge posed by the tighter competition in the telecommunications market and the continuous development of telecommunication service. To establish a billing & accounting system, which is "centralized, integrated, uniform, real-time, open, flexible, safe and reliable, adaptable", is of great necessity for the future development of telecommunication.Integrated Query Subsystem, an important part of Beijing Communication Corporation Integrated Billing System (BCC IBS) and a frequently used module, mainly serves to provide the platform and user interface for BCC customers, BCC inner operators and other department of BCC (Subscriber Service System etc.) to query about the using information and customer information of BCC service. This thesis consists of six chapters. The first chapter is Introduction, which firstly presents the topical background and source, and then introduces the thesis content and organization. The second chapter gives a brief description of Integrated Billing System, including the system's overall aim, service range and the function of each subsystem, and so on.The third chapter probes into the key technology adopted in this thesis, including J2EE architecture, MVC design pattern and Tuxedo middleware. The fourth chapter is the emphasis of this thesis, which is about the design and implementation of Integrated Query Subsystem in Integrated Billing System. This chapter describes the complete process of the preliminary design and detailed design about the subsystem.The fifth chapter explains the actualizing of Integrated Query Subsystem, which includes system capability, performance, usability and security. The last chapter draws a conclusion to the thesis and introduces some prospect about the development of telecom billing & account system.
