As essential equipment for ocean oil development, the structures of oil offshore platforms are complex, and the cost is high. The design life of offshore platforms is generally 10-15 years, at present quite amount of platforms entered the aged service period. On the premise of ensuring the offshore platform safety, prolonging the service life effectively may reduce the sea oil development cost greatly, and the economic efficiency is remarkable. For extending the safe using life of aged offshore platform effectively, carrying on the recomputation to the platform structure security, choosing the suitable plan of repair, strengthening and modification for different damage type, completing the platform life management, appears very essential. This dissertation mainly focuses on the need of ocean oil development in China, with aged jacket platform as research object, which is a part of the "863" High Technology Research and Development Program of China (No.2006AA09Z355) of "Research on Life Extension Technology for Aged Offshore Platforms" and the Shandong Natural Science Foundation Program (200637b2804040) of "Research on Virtual Safety Theory and Application for Offshore Structure". Research of digitalization management system for extending offshore aged platform life was carried on.This paper analyses the structure model of jacket platform, and creates the finite element model. Considering different loading conditions in service process, the structure database and loading database were created. On the base of researching repair and strengthening method for jacket platform of service period in china and abroad, part of damage types and repair method was carried on by finite element simulation. Local model was inserted into the overall model for analysis, then the stress condition after repair and strengthening was obtained, and the database of damaged tubular joint model and repair model was created. According to some methods of platform damage examination and actual data, the examination database for damage decision was created. On this basis, the frame of digitalization management system for extending life of aged jacket platform was built, the system module was divided and the software working process in details was making. Used Visual Basic programming language and Access database, the development work of management system software had been fulfilled.
