Embedded systems are more and more present in our everyday's life,ranging from simple sensors to complex systems such as mobile phones,network routers,airplanes and defense apparatus.As communication is fast becoming a general requirement for embedded systems in our increasingly connected world,embedded systems are less and less standalone systems, and more and more connected systems.There is currently a strong trend towords network capabilities into embedded systems.Putting focus on the most popular 32 bit ARM microprocessor and most common LAN-Ethernet network,the aim of this thesis is to explores a embedded Ethernet network module. Design the embedded Ethernet network hardware platform using a S3C44BOX microprocessor and a 10 Mbps Ethernet controller rt18019as,then transplant uClinux and u-boot to this hardware platform.With all of above have been done,modify the uClinux net device driver for building common socket programme port.Now a flexible embedded Ethernet network software and hardware platform has been built.At last,this paper demonstrate how to build a data gathering and data transmitting system with this module,also this is taken as software and hardware testing or examining. |
