Chinese Inputting And Outputting Handling System' Design And Implementation For Characater Shape Analysis

With the development of computer information processing technology and continuous improvement in the field of computer applications,it becomes more and more strong to solve the teaching of Chinese and the studying on ancient books with variant characters. At present,there is not an effective solution for computer to deal outset Chinese character inputting and outputting,We designed and realized a system it can effectivly input and output outset Chinese characters.At the same time,this system can convert handwriting inputting Chinese characters into a uniform grid-shaped character forms,establishing foundation for character comparing and analysis.Firstly , the method adopts the new idea which looks the Chinese character as a whole unified graphics,not using the traditional idea which splits the Chinese character into basic strokes.Under the new idea,this article focuses on researching dealing method of converting handwritten Chinese characters into grid-shaped model.After the warping of hand-written Chinese character size,the warping of stroke direction and stroke location and other steps,eventually we achieve the goal of converting hand-written Chinese characters into the grid model characters.Secondly,we design an interactive editing system for revising grid-shaped data.This system is mainly composed of moving strokes,adding strokes,deleting strokes such as edit functions. Programming uses the MVC idea.Users use this system to edit and amend irregular and wrong part of generated standardized grid-shaped characters.Thirdly,in order to outputting characters in the text file,it is required to extract contours from the grid-shaped character by TrueType font format. In this paper,we research on automatic extraction methods of the grid-shaped contour and design a method of automatically extracting grid-shaped contour , through the identification of connected regions , getting the regional boundary lines , boundary points ordering and feature point extraction,such as steps,eventually we get the data of grid-shaped contours according to TrueType formats.Finally,in the full studying the mechanism of reading and writing the TrueType font outline data,we design a algorithm of writing grid-shapped contour data to TrueType font file.Finally we generated TrueType font file of grid-shaped character.This font can be displayed in text files.
