Research And Development Of The Student Information Management System Based On ASP.NET And Workflow Technology

With the development of the computer, multimedia and network techniques, human beings have shifted into the information society. Information has become the driving force for social development, and integrated with knowledge, it has played an increasingly important role in the contemporary society. In addition, with the debut of expanding enrollment policy of universities, the number of students increases rapidly and the teaching resources are in short supply. How to increase the utilization rate of resources is becoming very important. So the norms of information management, scientific statistics and rapid inquiry has become the focus of the student's information management.Aimming to this requirement, the student information management system based on ASP.NET and workflow technology has been developed.First, analyzes the current situation and the target of the management of university students, and discussed the meaning of the student information management system development.Then introduced the key technology of the system development. Analyzes technique characteristics of C/S mode and B/S mode firstly, proposed adopting the B/S mode. Made a comprehensive research on .NET technology, analyzes basic principles of exchanging data by XML technology, and discussed how to link the database by ADO.NET modules.Next, introduced how to design and develop the student information management system for university. Mainly elaborated the management functions of uploading, moving, analysing the data in the backgrounds database.And also discussed how to solve the problems of the security mechanism and the performance optimization in the system under the Internet environment. In the end, summarizes and looks forward the future of the student information management system for university.
