Networked Control Systems(NCS) is a control system based on network, which take communication network into control and carry out sharing network resource and distributed control. There are some advantages for the control system, such as modular construction, less cost, control and detection in distribute, easy to diagnose fault, easily expend, flexibility, direct communication among nodes in NCS or between NCS and the Internet etc. However, due to the existence of the network, it will inevitably bring a lot of problems, such as delay, interrupt, network jam, timing disorder, packet loss, difficult in clock synchronization among nodes and so on. These problems will not only reduce the system's performance, but also cause some potential factors of system instability. According to the above-mentioned situation, the paper do some research on the stability and controller of NCS, using Lyapunov stability theory, linear equations inequality etc, simulate in LMI toolbox and TrueTime as well as, the main work is as follows:First of all, for a class of NCS, the stability related to the delay and solution of the parameter concerned on Maximum Allowable Delay Bound(MADB) are mentioned.Second, for the uncertainty NCS, we study the stability of the system, Delay-independent, Delay-dependent and guaranteed cost control etc.Third, the effect on performance of NCS due to several factors is discussed, such as induce-time delay, interference, packet drop-out, sampled period, network mode, scheduling, and disturbance, based on NCS simulation model in TrueTime. Furthermore, the simulation results and the conclusions concerned are provided.Finally, several typical applications of NCS are given. Combined with the ship mooring monitoring system, the networked control plan and outline design of Jetty Ship-moorings Monitoring System are given.
